The Downtown Business Alliance’s 2019 St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival will be held in downtown Wilmington on Saturday, Mar. 16.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the corner of N. Front and Hanover streets and travel south to Dock Street. Click on map at right to enlarge.
The event has been recognized as one of the top 10 St. Patrick’s Day parades in small cities in America. First responders from the Cape Fear region will serve as grand marshals to honor their work during Hurricane Florence.
Immediately following the parade, the festival will begin in Riverfront Park, rain or shine.

Front Street between Brunswick and Red Cross streets
Hanover Street between Nutt and 2nd streets

Walnut Street at Front Street
Grace, Princess, and eastbound Market streets between Water & Front streets
Westbound Market Street at the median/horse carriage tours
Dock Street between Water and 2nd streets

Northbound lane of S. Front Street at Orange Street
Southbound lane of 2nd Street between Market and Orange streets
